The challenge

You want to make a Food Truck plaza in the city of Barranquilla. Eleven trucks fit in the space in two delimited areas, the terrace and the main area. The square consists of bathrooms, common work areas, trees and walls that will become part of the concept.

Our task will be in the intervention of space and art direction of the project, creation of a name and visual identity for the square, design of space and its intervention, and execution logistics until its opening.

The strategy

We transformed the setting in such a way that it transported us to a magical place outside the city, a unique place where not only will everyone have the best fast food options, but also a place you always want to travel to again.

Our function as a study is to guide the client in the process of creating a name, a process that can sometimes be confusing and dead end. We always start based on the communication strategy and provide ideas to obtain the best results. And so we come to “FUDTRONOMY”, focused on a youth and family target.

The branding is inspired by the neon signs of the 60s and 70s in Paris, with a simple but striking iconography of a food truck that accompanies the moving text. The selected colors were a dark blue, a yellow and a pink with shades of orange.
