The challenge

Fladercello is a liqueur like no other, it is made with organic flowers that have been hand-picked by two beautiful sisters named Nathalie and Claudia Håkansson; more sustainable than that, impossible! They dreamed of launching this brand of liquor that they had been creating between the two of them, collecting the aromatic elderflowers from the Halland region, on the coast western Sweden, an hour from their homes.

They eventually teamed up with a famous distillery in Sweden that works with organic products and called us to develop a brand strategy, visual identity and bottle design along with their label.

Design

Obviously the sack flowers would be the protagonists of this story, and being an international collaboration, we asked Nathaly and Caludia to send us photos and videos of the flowers they collected, and that was the basis of the entire creative process. Something as unique and subtle as a flower liqueur should be treated as such. In this case, and due to its real artisan characteristic, we opted for a hand-drawn watercolor illustration with bright colors that was later transferred to digital media to create the entire texture of the label.
Green, white and yellow are the characteristic colors of this flower and we chose a font with hand strokes to give it that appearance.

The cork in the bottle also comes from recycled material, and the bottle is made of glass to preserve the quality of the liquor.

We launched into the market by initially opening the Instagram channel and partnering with an e-commerce in Sweden that allowed the sale of liquor to have a more accessible distribution and sale of the product for them at first. Fladercello has been so well received that a famous ice cream brand in the country called Snö decided to team up with them to bring a new flavor of ice cream to the market, which participated in a national ice cream contest and won FIRST PLACE! We are currently creating the website to have sales through our own channel.

When my sister and I decided to launch a new product and talked about what we envisioned the brand to be like, I immediately thought of Wen.
